Custom Workflows

This course focuses exclusively on Procore Workflows and is designed to help construction teams understand how workflows are intended to be used, where they add value, and where they don’t. We start by clearing up common misconceptions that often cause teams to avoid workflows or implement them incorrectly.

You’ll learn how workflows behave across different Procore tools, why options vary from one tool to another, and how to design approval paths that align with real construction processes. From there, we build a custom workflow together, including custom response types, while explaining the logic behind each setup choice.

The course also walks through assigning workflows to a project, configuring them for testing, and running items through the full approval process so you understand how workflows manage items from start to finish. We close with practical guidance on introducing workflows to your team in a way that encourages adoption.
